BreakdownThe Sitka Traverse is a lightweight, 4-way stretch pant designed for early season spot and stalk and ambush hunting. You can also layer core lightweight or core heavyweight bottom base layers and use the Traverse pant all the way through late-season November hunts. The 90% Polyester, 10% Spandex material offers an incredible feel, stretch, and mobility. Two mesh back cargo pockets keep your essentials at your fingertips. The two open mesh-backed hand pockets are great for quickly stashing a call, a handheld archery release, or just keeping your hands warm and ready for when the moment arrives. The Traverse pant has a more straight leg standard fit than the Ascent or Mountain Pant which has a more athletic cut.
Pant Sizing (Inches)
Measure around where you normally wear your pants, keeping the tape measure a bit loose or putting one finger between your body and the tape measure.
In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.

Tried on a pair of mountain pants at a local store, size 34. They fit perfect, got the traverse pants size 34, they are a little bigger around the waist. Not terribly huge but I will need a belt to keep them up. Definitely comfortable. Haven’t worn them in the field yet
These Sitka Traverse pants are my go-to for those warm, early season forays into woods. It is common for our September archery season to see temps in the 90’s and these pants help keep me cool and concealed. The fabric is quiet and the pockets are perfect. No issues of any kind with these pants.
Pants fit very well, light weight for hot days. Stretchy enough to run them as a layer. Been using them this year for early season horn hunting.
I haven’t used them in the field yet but they feel great! Light pants for early season elk or turkey/deer in central Florida. Most of my other hunting pants are 36” but I tried these on at bass pro before ordering a set and realized they ran a little small. Not as much as the ascent but a half size down I would say.
Fit great and there very breathable perfect for early deer season
