Sitka Timberline Pant
New hunter, GoHUNT guys hooked me up with my system recommendations. Pants are awesome. Stretch material makes the fit and feel. I run cold so I certainly needed a couple of layers for 10 degrees. Knee pads are great as well as rear seat protector. Quiet zippers, perfect pockets. Great fit.
I noticed on the inseam after use for five days that stitching came out at exactly the same point on both legs. Must be my enormous quads from training, but nonetheless it won't impact the integrity of the pant.
Order the Sitka belt if you want to run it without suspenders. I thought they were cool until nature called. Close one.
I haven’t used in real cold weather yet. Only down to about 40. Was comfy. Very stretchy material. My first Sitka gear. I can’t say anything negative. They are awesome so far. Also way more waterproof than expected. Sat in a very steady rain and was dry the whole time.
Wore these on a archery hunt for elk in Montana. The extra protection in the rear kept me dry even when sitting in snow/damp ground for long periods of time. I was very comfortable with a pair of long johns underneath in 30 degrees with 10mph winds. I was worried the knee pads would slow me down and feel strange, but was pleasantly surprised I could barely notice them when walking. I am 6’3” ordered a tall and suspenders fit great.
