goHUNT Staff Sizing Profile
BreakdownThe Heavyweight Hoody is one of the most versatile pieces in the Sitka lineup and a goHUNT staff favorite. It can be worn as the base layer for cold weather late season hunts or as outerwear on active early to midseason days. The channeled comfort-stretch fleece insulation retains core warmth while allowing moisture to rapidly move through the system. The Heavyweight Hoody is Polygiene Odor Control treated to neutralize odor and the half-length center zip is great for dumping excess heat. The stretch thumb loops allow you to add or shed layers without compromise. The final touch is the low profile hood for those chilly mornings and evenings.
Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder, and down the elbow to the wrist bone.

Sitka Heavyweight Hoody
Its a good shirt
The heavy weight hoody In combination with the light weight hoody makes this system absolutely Amazing ! I actually have two sets because they work so well . I Also have the kelvin active light puffy so between the 3 products I can sweat my ass off and dry out in minutes . Can’t say enough about all the Sitka gear I own , absolutely love it !!
Very comfortable and well fitted. Also good for a lot of different temperatures. Does start to break down quickly with washing and pretty similar to cheaper gridded fleeces though.
I use this over my merino wool base layer and that's all I've needed this season when I'm on the move in temps between 42-50. When the temp drops I'll throw on the Sitka aerolite down jacket and I'm good to freezing temps.
