The Leupold Pro Gear Panhead is smooth and eliminates jerky movements when glassing and frictionless panning. It offers butter smooth pan and tilt operation while maintaining continuous positive control of your optics. It has a quick release Arca-Swiss plate which allows for quick disconnect which allows for rapid switching from binoculars to spotting scopes. At under a pound(14 oz.) this pan head will be a welcomed performer on backpacking, lightweight tripods as well as the medium weight stability tripods. With 15lbs of weight capacity this pan head will be perfectly suited for smaller binoculars top the larger 85mm spotting scopes. Mounts with any 3/8" stud the tripods center post.
