Breakdown A workhorse of a softshell, the Jetstream Jacket features strategically located seam lines to shed water while a GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER® laminate will stop heat sapping winds while moving sweat and moisture through the system to keep you focused on the hunt. This jacket was designed to keep the active hunter in mind. It’s the jacket that breathes well, blocks wind, repels rain and snow, and does not inhibit movement when you're on the mountain.

I bought this on a recommendation from a guy who hunted the same time and place I’m hunting next September. He said he paired this with the Apex Hoody and was completely comfortable with that setup. I really wanted this jacket to fit me and my needs but it just didn’t. Just trying it with a thin long sleeve shirt it felt restrictive on the arms. I can’t imagine trying to get over the Apex. I’m a skinny guy with skinny arms. I don’t think a bigger size would help. However, if you do decide to get this, order it in the tall size. I’m returning it. I hate it because I got it on a Black Friday sale and like I said, I really wanted it to work.
Great jacket, but they’re about 2” too short on the torso.
Bought for an outfiitted elk hunt in 3 years. Got to use in late season whitetail deer hunt from treestands for a couple of weeks. My 2XL jacket fits nicely under my 2XL rain jacket. My normal winter XL jacket fits good under the Jetstream. Wind protection is fabulous. However, the material snags slightly on the tree bark. Plus it is not as quiet as I thought it would be. The two chest pockets are very functional for cell phone and rangefinder. I have no use for the hood while on deer stand but it may prove useful during hunts out west.
Brand new hunter. GoHunt guys helped me with my system and this is by far the best piece. I just got done with an AZ hunt with 10 degree mornings and 60 degree afternoons. The wind did not stand a chance on this piece. I found I wore it against my base, over my vest, in camp. It seriously is a piece I will never NOT have with me.
I like the fit. If you carry a bit of extra weight around with you then order a larger size (or hit the gym).
I like all my Sitka gear. The Jetstream jacket is probably the most versatile piece I have. Sizes run small. I’m typically an XL but had to go 2XL with the jacket.
