The Versalite is the warmest of the Western Mountaineering ExtremeLite series. The warmth to weight ratio of the Versalite is virtually unmatched. With a "super" full draft collar, interlocking draft tubes, and 20 ounces of 850+ fill down this is a very warm bag, yet weighs in at just 2 lbs. The Versalite also has a slightly larger shoulder girth, allowing for extra layering when it gets brutally cold. This is a versatile sleeping bag, perfect for mid-season and can easily push into late season hunts.

"This things super light. First down sleeping bag I have had. Haven’t had a chance to use it but will this September on a my archery elk hunt. Dropping 2 lbs from previous bad. Good quality from WM and good CS from GOHUNT!!"

I bought this bag (or rather I gave myself an excuse to) for a Kilimanjaro trip January of ‘25 but I’ll end up using it on trips to Colorado and Wyoming this year to break it fully in. These bags have always been heralded as top of the line and this certainly feels that way. Shoot, I’ve got down jackets that weigh more than this bag. Great purchase and great experience from GOHUNT"
"Between this and Kuiu's old one both about the same price. WM had been doing it for many years. I apparently need to hunt some colder places cause its always summer in the bag. 15 degrees is not an issue and with a hot tent pretty sure i wont be needing anything else."

I love this bag because it is super light and compresses super small to fit in your pack and still have room for everything else you need on a multi-day backpack trip. Once you get in it, the loft is so comfortable and after several low temp nights at 10-12k ft. elevation, this thing kept me warm and toasty without issue. This is not a cheap bag, but I will tell you firsthand that it is worth it. It is durable, lightweight, comfortable, super compressible, and you will actually look forward to going to bed on the mountain in this vs having a lower standard bag dreading your feet getting cold or an awkward cold spot causing you not to get a well needed quality sleep on the mountain! GoHunt makes it very easy for people to buy things they normally wouldn't. A well-rested mind and body is the best gear you can have while on the mountain or in the backcountry! Buy it!"
