The Western Mountaineering Kodiak MF 0 Degree Down Sleeping Bag is a hunters dream. This mummy bag uses lightweight 30-ounce 850+ down fill insulation that provides a full 7 inches of loft. While the down brings the warmth, the sleeping bag weighs in at a modest 2 lb 12 oz (regular size) so it isn't also bringing the weight. Its MicroLite XP shell is surprisingly durable despite its lightweight appeal. It's also very breathable and highly water-resistant. Its abrasion-resistant taffeta lining won't tear up if you have to sleep with some gear in your bag.
Western Mountaineering sewed the Kodiak's full-length down collar three-dimensionally so your neck remains snug and warm all night long. The draft tube also has a three-dimensional design to ensure you stay warm. The 5 1/4-in spacing and continuous baffle construction allow for easy compressibility and packing.

"Have yet to get cold in this bag. Very high quality, packs down great. I'm 6'0 with broad shoulders and fit great in the 6' bag - any bigger I would size up."
"This bag is extremely spacious for a mummy bag. I do not like traditional mummy bags as I do not sleep as well within them as a side sleeper. This bag is extremely roomy for me to side sleep and move around in. I would say there is minimal dead space as well. The other fabric is not noisy and durable as I have the MF in other WM bags. This bag is spacious, comfy and lightweight for a 0 degree both. Would recommend."
"It’s like the giant dude from the green mile spoons you to sleep. Incredible."
"Great bag. Toasty like an oven. Packs down excellent. Love the shoulder room."
"Really looking forward to getting out this fall; been wanting this bag for a while. I have a different WM bag and it’s awesome. Expecting this to be the same."
"Light weight, very warm, best bag I have used so far I upgraded from a 0 degree synthetic."
"Bought this for the description that it was roomy, it's not that roomy for a wide shoulder guy like me. But that being said the bag is comfortable and the loft is excellent. I like the hood shape too, hard to explain why other than it doesn't require to be cinched tight around the face like others to suffocate you."
"This thing was super warm and comfy down to about 10 degrees I used it in for all 3 nights until a Grizz tore up our camp and destroyed it :( so I will unfortunately have to buy another one"
"Great bag as to be expected from WM. Just returned from an AK Moose hunt and bag worked flawless."
