Western Mountaineering's EverLite 45-Degree Down Sleeping Bag is part quilt, part sleeping bag, and part high-quality over bag. When it's warm, the EverLite will work great as a lightweight summer bag and can unzip all the way around the feet to work as a lightweight quilt if you'd rather spread out. It can also be used outside of another bag to create a seriously warm sleep system to keep you warm on winter nights. "I use this bag in early whitetail season. I have used it as an outer bag in late rifle season in New Mexico. Very versatile and packable. Great size vs warmth."
"When I upgraded sleeping bags mainly for early season high country mule deer sleeping above 11,000' I chose the Badger 15 deg bag paired with this over quilt and have not been cold or disappointed in 40+ nights in the system. If it is super warm I just use the quilt, a bit colder the bag, and the bag and quilt together have never failed me. It is expensive but is worth every penny!"
