Quality glass, BDC worked well

"This was my first "nice" rifle scope. The quality is excellent, and it held up great on my 10-day backpack elk hunt without issue, and I brought home an elk. Now that I am long-distance shooting and reloading a lot more than I planned, I do think I want to try a scope that I can quickly dial the reticle in the field without taking the covers off and potentially losing them. I also think I would prefer a First Focal Plane going forward. This is not something I originally wanted and one of the reasons I went with this scope. The BDC marks were somewhat close to 100 yards increments, but I did find that a few of the marks were 25-50 yards off with my handloads. If you are looking for a practical, set-it and forget-it type of scope I think this is a great one. If you want more features for long-range shooting or dialing in the field then this is probably not your best choice. I will actually be buying the cheaper Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44 and giving that a try this year."
