Highlights-Highest resolution and brightest series of binos from Vortex-Features the new Abbe Koenig prisms-Can be used as a replacement for a spotting scope
BreakdownThis pair of binoculars is a great option for those who like to run a large set of binos off of a tripod and second set in a bino harness. The new Vortex Razor Ultra-High Definition 18x56 Binocular has superior optics in comparison to its Razor HD predecessor. Its new Abbe Koenig Prisms are the main improvement. These new prisms are longer than the previous version, and so weight is increased slightly. However, a little extra weight is a small price to pay to be able to spot more game. They also feature improved edge to edge clarity. The UHD series of binoculars are truly the highest quality binoculars that Vortex has produced to date. As with all Vortex products these binoculars are covered by their no questions asked lifetime warranty. Made in Japan.
I have a pair of 15x56 swaros and I've used these and the swaros the last few times I have gone out. The swaros are definitely a slight bit clearer on the edges and have better eye relief, but have the 18x56 vortex is awesone have just a little more zoom, and my opinion is that they are clearer in the center than the swaros I have.
