Excellent set of binoculars!

"Excellent set of binoculars!"

Probably the best product for the money

"This year I decided to upgrade my binos after using some decent budget binos for the last 20 years. I gave myself a $1000 budget. I looked at Leica, Zeiss, Leupold and Vortex. I went to a local Cabelas so I could get a good side by side comparison. I had some pre-conceived notions about how this would go but I was as objective as possible. I've been a Leupold fan for years, using their spotting scopes and rifles scopes for as long as I've been hunting out west (25 years). I was disappointed to see that their binos don't fit in this class of optic. I was really excited to try the Zeiss Conquest HD 10x42 binos. I thought the image quality was exceptional but the eye cups just seemed like an afterthought. Its odd that a company puts so much into their glass but the finish was lacking. The Vortex Razors and Leica Trinovids were quickly my top two picks and after lots of looking (through really poor lighting at Cabelas) I decided on the Vortex Razors. For me, the quality was very near that of any top end binos but the lifetime warranty pushed them over the finish line. Since the purchase I've lived with these binos around my neck. I'm extremely happy with them in the field and I have no hesitancy recommending them to anyone looking for a pair of binos at this price point."

VORTEX RAZOR HD 10X42 - BEST FOR THE $$$

"With a budget of $1,000 for binoculars, I was a little apprehensive on which binos to purchase, so I did what any reasonable person would do, I purchase 3 different binos to see which one was the best for me. I purchased the Leupold 10x42 BX-5, and the Zeiss Conquest 10x42 in addition to the Vortex Razor. I wanted to like the Zeiss the most since it was made in Germany opposed to China, however the ease of focus and the fit and finish were better with the Vortex. The Leupold BX-5 was very underwhelming in regard to performance, I compared them to my brother's BX-4 and was unable to tell any noticeable advantage, so if you are on a budget the BX-4's provide great value. The Vortex Razor HD 10x42 excelled in the following aspects 1) Easy to focus 2) Most comfortable to use (in hand they are light and the eyecup provided perfect eye relief focus) 3) Image Sharpness and clarity was outstanding"

Vortex Razor 10x42 Binoculars

"I bought these as a xmas gift for my dad. These are awesome quality for the money and are much lighter and more compact than other 10x42's which makes glassing much more enjoyable to glass for extended periods without a tripod. Great fit in the hand. Super bright picture in comparison to an older Vortex talon model and on par clarity wise when put side by side to a pair of Leica and Swarovski."

Definitely 2 thumbs up for

"Definitely 2 thumbs up for sure. My husband love the binocular. Thank you for the recommendation."

Nga L. (5/5)

Wow these are nice, excellent quality glass, bright, clear, light weight

"You cant beat the price for these. When comparing to other high end binos I went with these since I didn't see too much of a difference and they were $1000 cheaper. Also, they felt a bit lighter so even better for backcountry."
