Breakdown This rangefinding binocular takes the guesswork out of dialing long-range shots with in-display ballistic data and built-in environmental sensors, which means less time calculating ballistics and more time putting rounds downrange. With the Applied Ballistics® Elite solver built right in, you can pair with the Fury HD App to create custom ballistic profiles, and with popular Kestrel® and Applied Ballistics® Garmin® devices for the ultimate in real-time precision.
Great glass, tough (dropped on some rocks, no damage noticeable), and the rangefinder function works well. I loaded in my prairie dog gun ballistics for some testing, it works much much better than just spotting with my scope. The ranges and drops are pretty accurate, made some ~500 yard shots with .223 with the given holdovers and got kills. It says it can range to 5000 yards, but I haven't been able to range over 2500ish consistently ( I was able to hit some white structures at over 3000 yards). I'm not a huge fan of the chest carrier, the straps are pretty chintzy, but I'll upgrade them another time. Excited to try these on bigger game later this year.
Works out to 4,000 yards on a building. Easy to add my rifle and my dads to the unit. Good addition would be a wind meter to accurately judge wind and add it to the dope adjustments in the range finder. Quick accurate calculations that are the same as my Applied Ballistics phone app just way faster.
