Breakdown
The Diamondback Tactical is a long-range wolf in sheep's clothing. Rather than cramming features in at the expense of turret performance and optical quality, the Diamondback Tactical dials it back, putting the focus where it counts. Exposed turrets bring tracking performance previously unheard of at this price point, while its optical system delivers sharp image quality even at extended range. Its relatively simple design places you firmly in the driver's seat with the potential to take on that 1,000 yd mark and beyond, all at a price that's easy to justify for new shooters, your training rifle, as well as experienced shooters looking for a back-to-basics optic on their fun gun.

Great scope for the money

"This is the second one of these I’ve bought. Put them on my sons . 243s and they love them."

Very good quality for the price

"I bought this scope to see how I liked using a First Focal Plane scope and have been very happy. I mounted this on my 300 PRC and have shot it from load development at 100 yards out to 400 yards. I really thought I would dislike this reticle because of how busy it is, but I dial for my shots and honestly don't even notice all the extra elevation lines below the crosshair. I really like the little center gap in the crosshair for shooting at dots during load development. I am finding that I prefer the thinner profile of this FFP reticle over the thicker reticle in my Viper SFP. All dials and adjustments feel very solid, but I do think there is some improvement to be had in the turret position indication. The turret hashmarks don't perfectly line up with the mark on the scope body so it's always a little confusing telling exactly where the zero position is. For a budget scope, I think this is probably within reason given how well made the product feels overall."

Caleb B. (5/5)

good scope

"Love this scope, this is my second one and one is on my CZ457 and the other is on my 6.5 Creedmore."

James S. (5/5)

Best Entry-Level Tactical Turret Scope

"I did a lot of research before buying this scope. I wanted a tactical turret scope for my son’s first rifle. This scope is well constructed, holds its zero very well, and even comes with a sun shade. Well worth the money for what you get. This doesn’t keep up with Vortex’ higher end scopes, but is a great entry-level scope for someone looking to get into long range shooting / hunting."
