The Solo Rifle Saddle is one of the best options on the market for a lightweight mount that allows you to mount your rifle on your tripod. It is built from a glass-reinforced, hi-density injected resin that helps to reduce the weight significantly without sacrificing any strength or stability. The Solo Rifle Saddle features a single rapid drive knob that allows you to quickly clamp it to and detach it from your weapon. On the bottom of the saddle, there are both 1/4" 20 and 3/8" 16 threaded inserts, which allows you to either attach the saddle to a quick disconnect plate or directly to the top of a tripod. "It is convenient and clamps well, especially because you can clamp it up under the magazine where the rifle balances, but it is only really good for shorter range shooting. I say this because the base of the mount flexes a lot, so no matter how tight the clamp or sturdy the tripod the rifle will be wobbly; almost impossible to keep the crosshairs on an 8" target at 300"

"Product works well, sturdy, and light weight in comparison to other similar products. Only downfall is the main tightening screw seems like it could back all the way out. Just something to keep an eye on. This will be used for backcountry shooting and without the main screw would be useless. I love that it will give me the ability to shoot cross canyon with crazy angles. Will be a great rest for kids to shoot from! I would recommend this product!"
