"I bought this as an in between for my lighter weight RRS TFC -14 and heavier RRS TVC-33. It's only a few ounces heavier than the 14 and WAYYY more stable. The inverted legs are also a nice touch and much easier to deploy or make a quick adjustment. I love my RRS stuff and that it's made in the USA but some of these Tricer tripods are actually better. I plan on getting the X2 soon as it's considerably more stable than my RRS TVC-33."
