"Awesome pad when you can take a little extra bulk and weight. The large pad gives you lots of room to stay on your pad when rolling over. It adds another level of comfort and luxury for a few oz. (4-5). It has worked great for canoe camping, Arctic camping and summer backpacking. I have 4 weeks on the pad now and it has filled a niche in my kit. A solid performer. The regular size pad is still my go to for sheep hunting and hardcore mtn. travel. Not willing to add an extra oz. for luxury on these adventures."
