If you do not sleep well on a backpack hunt, you may not feel like hunting at all. Weighing in at 1 lb 7 oz and 1 lb 13 oz, the Luxe is still light enough you can backpack with it. It also makes an excellent truck/base camping option. "I ordered the regular length wide version. This is essentially a backcountry air mattress. Pros: very thick and firm once fully aired up. Also one of the lightest "comfort" pads available. packs away small Cons: ribs run the wrong way so it is very easy to roll off. unless you have perfectly level ground, you will be sliding off in the middle of the night. Between the group tarp, the pad and a sleeping bag, its very slippery with nothing to hold you on. Overall i give it 4 stars because i have consistent back problems and this pad really helped eliminate any fear of a flare up back issue while backcountry hunting."
