Swarovski was asked to provide a compact version of their Swarovision spotting scopes for the 2022 season and they delivered with the brand-new STC 17-40x56 Straight Spotting scope. The STC 17-40x56 is an ideal companion for backcountry hunters where pack size and weight play a decisive role in the gear you bring. With its compact dimensions, this spotting scope is smaller than a standard sheet of paper and will fit easily in any backpack. The STC weighs in at 2 lbs 2.6 oz and won’t slow you down on long hunts or adventures. The removable half shell attached to the bottom of the spotting scope using the tripod thread, allows the spotter to rest in your hand, backpack, or any surface you can find without blocking the focusing and zoom wheel for when you don't have the time to set up the tripod. This allows for comfortable and stable use with or without the use of a tripod.
