Beautiful optics, great ranging, lens cap fail

Beautiful bright optics, good field of view, fast and far ranging, with the lens covers won’t stay on. You push them in, and they pop right out again. I’m not marking down the overall rating for the lens cover issue, but at this price the lens covers should almost close themselves on command.

Swarovski EL Range 10x42mm TA

Glass is noticeably better than the previous generation and having the ranging button moved to the right makes a big difference. I’ve only used the tracking assistant with my phone and Bluetooth, and it works really well. I have not used the tracking assistant yet without the Bluetooth so I can’t comment on that. Overall with limited use I think these are a big improvement on the previous generation. Looking forward to some more time with them as it warms up here in Alaska.
