BreakdownAnyone looking for equipment of proven quality right from the start will be delighted by the spotting scopes in the ATS/STS range. They offer all the features that you would look for in a spotting scope, including a tried-and-tested, lightweight design and perfect optics. As some of the lightest quality spotting scopes in the world, they are characterized by detailed optics with exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness and color fidelity.
Had this one for a few weeks now, but have had it out in smoky and/or low light conditions enough to get a pretty good eval on it. Feel like it does a really nice job, the focus is very crisp and it's got an excellent packability-to-optical quality ratio. The only thing I see with it is that you need a pretty steady tripod to fully take advantage of its abilities, and a good tripod head is necessary to keep it steady in particular.

Upgraded from a 85mm Vortex Razor. Worth every penny of the price jump.
