Swarovski was asked to provide a compact version of their Swarovision spotting scopes for the 2022 season and they delivered with the brand-new ATC 17-40x56 Angled Spotting scope. The ATC 17-40x56 is an ideal companion for backcountry hunters where pack size and weight play a decisive role in the gear you bring. With its compact dimensions, this spotting scope is smaller than a standard sheet of paper and will fit easily in any backpack. The ATC weighs in at 2 lbs 2.2 oz and won’t slow you down during long hunts or adventures. The removable half shell attached to the bottom of the spotting scope using the tripod thread, allows the spotter to rest in your hand, backpack, or any surface you can find without blocking the focusing and zoom wheel for when you don't have the time to set up the tripod. This allows for comfortable and stable use with or without the use of a tripod.

"This spotting scope is light short and amazing. Yesterday I packed it and a tripod I picked up at the Salt Lake City Hunt Show up the mountains behind my place and it was so nice not to pack my big tract optics. Those mountains are about 5 miles behind my house and this scope spots elk on those ridges and openings in the timber easily. This is a keeper for an old guy that still likes to hike with his pack.
