Breakdown
Designed for use with the Krux EVO and Xcurve frames to support the weight of your rifle, the Quick Release Sling secures your rifle to the pack while still offering easy and fast access without taking the pack off. A unique design of quick release buckles and webbing, this system keeps the rifle barrel profile behind you, out of your field of view and protected from the brush. One pull on the upper strap tether and your rifle is free for rapid access. The Quick Release Sling allows you to carry your weapon on either side of the EVO Frame or the right side of the Xcurve Frame.

I use this on all my packs. Great for easy rifle retrieval on the move.
I have found this to work very well. As other say the rifle swings a bit sometimes. You have to use another strap for a wobble free mount and I wish it was more secure but it has never been a problem. With that said, my gun has always stayed secured and I can get it off my pack very quickly. The key is to route the release strap through a loop on the backpack shoulder strap. I prefer it to mounting it to the bag because of speed of access and it keeps the barrel lower so it hits brush much less often. I also prefer it to Kifaru because it doesn't point the gun at your hunting partners when hiking uphill and is never in the way. It's a bit difficult to install but totally doable.
Been running stone glacier x curve for a few years, solid system. That being said I think there are better options for carrying a rifle than using their quick release system. That is my personal opinion, take it or leave it.
The function and quality of the product is great but it was somewhat difficult to install. I’d recommend Kurt’s video on YouTube as it shows more of a step by step process as opposed to the more recent video by Stone Glacier.
Seems to be a Great product but it didn’t come with the piece to mount to the backpack
