Moisture and odor control are two areas where a base layer has to perform great, and the new Avro Synthetic Crew SS from Stone Glacier is just that. The new synthetic fabric is 100% polyester designed to wick moisture away from the skin leaving you dry and comfortable. That moisture then dries quickly so you don't lose excess heat due to a soaking wet garment. The polyester used is also pilling resistant and won't break down as fast during hard use. The shirt is designed with an anatomical fit, and the seams have been removed from the shoulders to provide a more comfortable fit, especially when carrying a pack for extended amounts of time. Odor control is an issue for any hunter no matter the species, Polygiene odor treatment helps prevent body odors from sticking to the fabric. The Avro Synthetic Crew SS is an awesome shirt for early season, warm climate hunts, while still giving you the ability to layer up in the later seasons.
