"My son and I have used this sky tarp during rainstorms in Colorado (Elk, Deer, Bear Hunting). Easy and fast to setup, and kept us and our gear dry. Main things… it’s lightweight, covers 2 guys with gear comfortably, works with trekking poles. My buddies made fun of me for spending money on such a thing until they got soaked in the rain and had to head back to camp and get a fire going so they could warm up. Now, they carry one of these. When you have limited time to hunt, don’t let rain ruin your time up in the mountains. Weather always changes so quick, it’s just buy once - cry once insurance."
