The Chinook Merino Gloves will be a staple in your layering system all season long. These light-duty gloves pack down to almost nothing in your pack or pant pocket. The Chinook Merino Glove excels as a standalone glove during the early season or as a liner under an insulated glove as temps cool. Constructed out of SG’s proprietary Merino6 fabric and offers low-volume warmth, all-day comfort, and optimal dexterity for performing tasks. Merino6 is a blend of high-quality Merino Wool and high-performing 6.6 micro denier nylon yarns. Through extensive testing, it was found that the perfect combination was 89% Merino Wool and 11% Nylon. Merino6 products have a soft hand feel, regulate body temperature, eliminate odor, and won't stretch or shrink like other traditional 100% Merino fabrics. The nylon fibers increase the moisture-wicking ability of the gloves and enhance their durability. The Chinook Gloves feature AX Connect in the thumbs and forefingers for seamless operation of a touchscreen while wearing the gloves.

2nd pair

"I lost one glove while quail hunting. I really thought I could live without these but ended up purchasing another set. They are the perfect weight for cooler weather and also cold weather with ability to put hands in/out of pockets."

Great base layer!

"Fits perfectly as a base layer under the Graupel gloves for those extra chilly mornings."

Lacks durability

"These gloves started getting holes in fingers after one week of use. Etips quit working consistently at that point. These are thin enough that they work great in a layered glove setup, but just don’t have the durability I need. Photo is after two years of use. Initial damage wasn’t quite so extreme."

Caleb B. (2/5)
