I had really high hopes for these after doing a good deal of research. When I first received them in the off season I was impressed. But when the season rolled around and I really started using them my opinion slowly started to change. They are extremely loud, very very loud. And the unique Velcro zipper feature, albeit cool, isn't exactly practical. The more I used the pants the more that Velcro started to pull itself apart with normal movements.
Let me be clear, these pants work, they are comfortable, and will def stay in my rotation. But, they aren't ideal and they aren't without their issues. I wont be using them on stalking hunts because the noise they make and the Velcro randomly pulling apart (also very loud) is just too risky on a high stakes hunt.
The pants are great! Love how light they are and how very comfortable they are as well. No complaints whatsoever. But! Living in the PNW and hunting Roosevelt’s, there really is no lineup of pants , shirts or jackets that will withstand the THICK vegetation of the west coast jungles. Just came back from a week long hunt on the coast and my pants have quite a few cuts and burrs. But that’s ok, I’ll just keep buying more.
These are my favorite pants. Going to buy a second pair, or more. I wear them for everything including work.
I’ve tried a lot of them. And these might be my favorite yet. Great fit and love the adjustable waist. Can’t speak of durability, but them seem quality made like most high end hunting pants. Like all hunting pants they are expensive. You only live once and it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
Took these from a week long fishing trip to AK. From being rained, pulling fish in the boat and walking through tall wet vegetation these pants are damn near water proof. When they do finally soak up water they dry out very quickly even in the humid costal areas of Alaska.
They fit great! stretchy and comfortable!
