BreakdownThe Access Bag adds quick accessibility and cubic inches to any Stone Glacier bag. It attaches and detaches quickly and easily using the same compression strap buckle configuration of both bags. The buckle layout is approximately 10% smaller than on Stone Glacier Packs, maintaining a tight fit and adequate compression to the back of the bag. Whether it is a spotting scope, rain gear, or other daily necessities, the Access Bag will live up to its name with a full center zip access. The Access Bag also has one interior spotting scope sized, vertical pocket.
Got to use my xcurve frame for 8 days so far and on 1 deer pack out. I am only running an evo lid, access panel, and hip pockets. This gives me plenty of room for a small spotting scope, tripod, hiking poles, rifle, food, water, rain gear, emergency kit, gamebag and other essentials. This pack is comfortable, relatively quiet, extremely functional/versitile. The only thing I would change is the material on the inside of the belt and shoulder straps, it snags easily in the brush, or when you lay your pack on the ground. I tested the kifaru, and mystery ranch, bought an exo and the xcurve this year and the xcurve is my go to.
Used for packing into spike camp, great for rain gear, food and extra water.
