SteriPEN is the world's most trusted portable ultraviolet water purifier. The Ultralight is reusable for up to 8,000 treatments. The Ultralight kills 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, and protozoa. To use you simply submerge the lamp in your water and stir it around until the SteriPEN notifies you that the purification process is done. You can only purify 1 liter of water at a time. Nalgene water bottles work great for this. Another great feature is that it is rechargeable with a micro USB. This is a great feature for the backcountry allowing you to charge it with a back-up battery pack or a solar panel.
