PointsThe SIRUI TYuni Series quick-release plates have a 1/4" standard thread for attaching the optic and have rubberized surfaces to prevent accidental slipping. The two red sliding stoppers can be raised to stabilize a spotting scope, binocular mount, or camera. The 1/4" screw has a handle to tighten the screw, so no tools for mounting are required. Plates are compatible with the Arca-Swiss system.

"I originally had my doubts but this trimmed down head is sturdy enough to hold position without having to muscle the pan/tilt knobs. All the controls are easily accessible by feel and no need to pull your eye away from the eyepiece especially after a little practice. My spotter is a 20X60. I’m happy."

"I specifically wanted a smaller plate to hold my bino adapter on my Sirui VA-5 Fluid Head. I didn't know if the TY-50 Pro would work so I sent an email to CS. Cody emailed me back, on a Sunday afternoon, the day before his elk hunt, to help me see if the other plate I had (a TY-C10) would work before purchasing the new one. Even after he walked me though how to adjust the head, it didn't- so I got the 50. It has worked great and is solidly built. Perfect for camera bases, or smaller items where you don't need the balance adjustability of a longer plate. I hope you got an elk Cody! I appreciate the help."
