Why we like this product

  • HDX PRO™ optical system combines fully redesigned ED glass lenses, prism, and prism coatings
  • 2° image compensation angle
  • User ergonomics enhanced as a result of relocated battery position and upgraded texture on the diopter adjustment ring and main focus wheel

The ZULU6-HDX PRO 16x50mm Image Stabilized Binoculars set a new standard in optical clarity and stabilization with reengineered lens coatings, prescriptions, and settings that are built to impress even the most discerning optics aficionados.

Available in 14x, 16x, and 18x magnification, the ZULU6-HDX PRO combines ample power with a generous Apparent Field of View (AFOV) and light-gathering capability as the result of the larger 50mm objective lenses. SIG SAUER’s new HDX PRO™ lens system significantly reduces ambient glare, improves overall light transmission by 25%, and increases color accuracy to deliver an unrivaled Twilight Factor during the most critical moments of the day.

OmniScan™ is the latest OIS™ (Optical Image Stabilization) software update which seamlessly blends Scan and Target modes using a digital accelerometer to automatically adjust the degree of stabilization based on movement. The slower the binoculars move, the greater the degree of stabilization applied and vice versa. OmniScan eliminates the need to toggle between settings, delivering the most advanced stabilization experience they've ever created.

The ZULU6-HDX PROs are powered by two common AA batteries, providing 40+ hours of constant runtime. The battery compartments have been relocated to opposing sides of the binocular body, creating a more comfortable in-hand feel.

Zulu6 hdx pro 16x50mm

"Out of box these things feel amazing! Glass is super clear and the stabilization is a game changer! Haven’t used in hunting situation yet but have been sighting rifle in 300-800 yds, calling shots w/ these on a tripod alone and they will be w/ me in wyoming this year! Price point hurts, but in scenarios where you’re huntin heavier timber areas or you don’t need to see ticks crawlin on an animals ear at 1,000 yds than you could sell or do w/o spotting scope and solely run these no problem! Gohunt’s team was a huge help in this purchase as well, the 5 stars goes for their support as well as the binos!"

Sig Sauer ZULU6 HDX Pro 16x50

"Stabilization is the only way to go. Had the 16x42, then got the 20x42 and now added the Pro 16x50. They are an incredible tool!"

HDX Pro 16x50

"The stabilization technology is a game changer! Although a little heavier than other glass options, well worth the weight and no going back now!"

— Logan D. (5/5)

Game changer with a tradeoff

"I’ll admit that flipping on the stabilization for the first time is truly a WOW experience. That being said, the glass quality still is not there even compared to mid-tier vortex’s. I’m going to take the Sigs with me pretty much everywhere though, because the stabilization pretty much makes up for the glass quality. Some might argue they’re using a tripod, so stabilization doesn’t matter. To that I’d say now I’m glassing off a tripod with 16’s instead of 12’s, so I’m not packing a spotter. Overall, it’s a worthy trade off. Just a hard pill to swallow with the glass quality for the price."

Stabilization binos

"Right out of the box I couldn’t put them down. So stable and already put the smack down on some pigs first day out in the field. After trying these I can’t go back. If you’re in the market you have to try them, you won’t go back."

— Adrian M. (5/5)

Never Going Back

"If you don’t have these save up for them. Best purchase I’ve made."

— Payson D. (5/5)

Worth the Price

"I used these on a hunt for the first time last week. They were night and day better than my previous binoculars. I was able to spot animals and movement freehand that I would have missed with my standard binoculars. They are a little heavy but by the end of the week I was used to the weight."

— Brock C. (5/5)

Game changers

"The image stabilization is amazing in so many circumstances Glassing, from a vehicle, younger users, digiscoping… they all benefit from the feature. I was impressed with the glass. It shines in non-hunting scenarios as well. We did Yellowstone this year and were able to quickly hop from a car and pick out animals and details that others missed. We ran circles around the other folks who had to take time setup a tripod and scope. Now my only problem is that I only have one!"

— Michael G. (5/5)

Taming the Wind

"The Zulu 6 HDX Pros came in handy in a recent Nebraska turkey hunt. Consistent 40mph winds made holding binoculars steady a significant challenge on its own. When I flipped the switch to turn on the image stabilization it made glassing a breeze. Huge thanks to Cody Nelson for the top-notch customer service—he got these ordered and shipped across the country in just four days. Highly recommend!"

— Brenden S. (5/5)

Sig binos

"The image stabilization was really awesome. The clarity of the glass was not the best in my opinion for the price. I’ve never had a harder time getting Binos in focus."

— Hunter L. (3/5)
