OmniScan™ is the latest OIS™ (Optical Image Stabilization) software update which seamlessly blends Scan and Target modes using a digital accelerometer to automatically adjust the degree of stabilization based of movement. The slower the binoculars move, the greater the degree of stabilization applied and vice versa. OmniScan eliminates the need to toggle between settings, delivering the most advanced stabilization experience they’ve ever created.
The ZULU6-HDX PROs are powered by two common AA batteries, providing 40+ hours of constant runtime. The battery compartments have been relocated to opposing sides of the binocular body, creating a more comfortable in-hand feel.

"These binos work! Field of view is very diminished, but I can glass while the truck or side by side is running. Makes that aspect much more convenient and quick."
"I primarily hunt deer and turkey in the southeast. These have become my primary chest binos replacing my Leupold bx-5hd Santiams 10x42’s. My use case for binos is primary identifying whether or not I want to shoot an animal in low light and occasionally scanning to try to find game. The image stabilization feature along with the higher magnification helps me find more game and pick out more detail. I think my Santiams have a slight edge at low light if using them on a tripod, but I rarely hunt with a tripod in the southeast, and if you aren’t using one, the image stabilization feature is a game changer. The only thing that I don’t like about the Zulu’s is the narrow field of view, but for my purposes, the benefits outweigh this draw back."
"I own both the original, smaller Zulus and these bigger ones. Both fantastic in their own rights, but this HDX Pro glass is clearer. You will question why you waited so long to pull the trigger on these."

"These things are absolutely amazing. I was so on the fence were such a long time but now I understand why the rage was there. I can’t really compare too too much to glass quality of other binoculars due to the fact that I started out with a pair of diamondbacks. However, I do know that I am picking up way more game due to the stability factor than I would with any other pair of binoculars. My dad has a pair Swaros and I do believe that the glass quality is considerably better however it is hard to compare them because his are 7x and my sigs are 14x. And due to that they’re not very comparable. It is truly amazing at how much light they will let in for that. I have a power. I was seeing consistently 35 to 40 minutes after dark with these. Granite they are darker than a lighter power, but they are truly phenomenal. For most of my hunts, I don’t know if I will even take a spotter because of it."
