  • Handmade in Grand Junction Colorado, constructed from watertight 30 denier silnylon

The Cimarron is the classic pyramid shelter reimagined and redefined. It's large enough for up to four people during an early-season hunt or two during a late-season hunt with an added stove. Carefully built from top quality, resilient 30 Denier Cordura Nylon, the Cimarron is great in the wind, rain, or snow. Dual entrances with storm flaps make it a perfect fit for a small group. Built-in sod skirt keeps any unwanted debris or snow out. It pitches fast and easy and will be a reliable shelter for nearly any hunt regardless of the season or conditions. The Cimarron comes with a stove jack and can be pitched with linked trekking poles or Seek Outside carbon fiber center pole.

***Single-wall, floor-less shelters tend to produce more condensation than traditional double-wall tents. Factors like humidity, ground moisture, and vegetation will impact the amount of condensation inside your tent. We recommend pitching your tent in an elevated position to increase airflow and bringing a small towel to wipe the inside of your tent periodically to reduce dripping.***

A+ quality

"I've only used this tent on a two-week hunt, but so far I'm happy with the purchase. It packs down pretty small without putting too much thought into how you stuff it back into the stuff sack it comes with. It's definitely lighter than my last tent setup. I like the double-zipper doors because it was really nice to air out on those hot September days. Condensation was a thing, but I wouldn't say it was an issue. I did pack a rag and just used that to wipe down the inside walls if it was excessive. Solo, I had an ample amount of room for gear. Definitely enough room for two plus gear. I paired this with a half nest and the carbon pole. I'm glad I went with the designated pole because I broke both my trekking poles on a fall while packing out an elk. I chose to seal it myself instead of having it factory sealed; it was pretty easy, but I can see how the factory seal would be beneficial. It does come with one pack of sealant, but I would recommend buying an extra if you choose to do it yourself."

Not bad

"Tent seems pretty well built, but it does not come with guy lines or enough stakes for all the guy line attachment points which is kind of irritating if you're on a tight timeline to head out to the wilderness. Overall happy with the footprint and weight."

Initial Impressions - Excellent

"I have practiced pitching this tent a few times in preparation of a back country MT mule deer hunt. It goes up fast and simple. There is plenty of room for two maybe even three people with a stove. (You may be touching the walls a little with three. ) I have a Seek Outside Large stove with a 7. 5’ stove pipe and I installed their full liner and line locks on the bottom. I also purchased the Seek Outside carbon pole. I think this tent will be excellent in the back country for my hunting partner and I to stay in for a week or so. Plus it is NOT a commie made tent, but made right here in the USA!🇺🇸"

Seek Outside Cimarron 2-4 Person Shelter.

"Well made tent. Looking foward to taking it Mountain Goat hunting this year."

Bear tooth proof tent!

"Extremely well built tent I had a black bear on top of the tent pushing down on my face and I don’t know how long he had been chewing at my tent in Idaho last year but it held up long enough until I was able to wake up and push it off to get my Witt’s about me to find my air horn to scare it off. I hunted extremely hard the day and night before finding my sleeping bag late the night before is the reason I never woke up. But man I was lucky…. ."

Cimarron tent

"I’ve used this tent a bunch and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. Big enough for two people gear and a stove. I like this version because it’s simple, gets the job done, and has two zippers for it’s easy for two people to get in and out of."

Light, compact, fast setup

"Mansion size for me as a solo effort, comfortable with a buddy and stove. Super easy to pitch, probably takes 2 minutes, even in crap weather. Does it breathe well? No, but the utility and ease of use is worth every penny. Only downside is GoHunt doesn’t offer the factory seam-sealing…not the end of the world. Wicked fast shipping."

So far so good

"I love how quickly it pitches. I wish I could have swung the next size up but it wasn’t a necessity and the budget is. I will be using it this weekend and if it goes well I’ll get the stove."

Great light weight tent!

"We purchased this tent for our colder hunts since it has the light weight stove. We didn’t receive the stove in time but did use the tent and loved the space it had."
