The Scarpa Golden Gate Kima RT is a lightweight trail shoe designed for fast movement across demanding terrain. A breathable mesh upper reinforced with Scarpa’s EXO support matrix provides structure without unnecessary bulk, while the Foot Active Control System combines two densities of Active EVA for cushioned landings and added support. A carbon fiber plate works with the Presa TRN-03 SuperGum+Waterlock outsole to deliver responsive stability, grip, and traction on technical trails and exposed terrain.

"These feel great. I think it's 50/50 a guy will need to size up. The carbon plate will reduce fatigue but the low stack height does not provide a lot of cushion. The upside is you will have better control on more technical terrain."
