The Extreme Pod Bipod requires an industry-standard Picatinny rail, and Rugged Ridge Outdoor Gear now offers its own Picatinny rail mounting system. Much like many of the other mounts available on the market, our rail is precision machined to standard specifications with additional features that allow it to be attached universally, on almost any hunting rifle stock configuration. Each Rugged Ridge Outdoor Gear Picatinny Mount comes with a generic hardware kit.

"I ordered two picatinny rails from them. When I received them a week or so later one of the rails were missing from the packaging. I contacted customer support and they apologized that this even happened and promptly shipped a replacement to me. I highly recommend them!"

"I added this to one of my rifles and ended up buying two more for my other rifles. Very good quality. I ended up buying different screws and bedding the nuts in epoxy in my synthetic stock rifles. The wood stock was a lot more stuff and didn’t require the bedding."
"This is a good quality little rail. It was easy to install and fit the curve of the stock just right. Kinda wish they didn’t use a wood screw. I’d be more happy with a machine screw and a lock nut and washer to go inside the stock. For a couple bucks you could get that at the hardware store anyways. Overall good product, I’m happy."

"The screws that come with this rail don't sit flush with the surrounding metal of the rail, which is a minor issue but there's plenty of picatinny rails that don't. Also, this comes with a wood screw but I think that's cutting corners as a the rail should have a T-piece (receiving part for the screw) to thread into & not just screw it into the stock as overtime this has the potential to strip way easier."
