Breakdown Whether using the gutless method or a traditional open cavity method, the DTS is more than capable of quickly processing that bull or buck of a lifetime. Its clever Tendon Tool preserves the life of the primary blade by cutting those tough tendons and swedging the atlas joint apart.
Love the tendon blade!
Haven’t got to cut up an elk with it yet but feels good in the hand very well built and not to heavy. I will put an update when I get to do some gutten and killen.
Tendon tool is dang handy but was still able to snap the tip off working the atlas joint. The main blade held the edge pretty well, and although noticeably not as sharp afterward still held up better than its competitors during testing. 4 out of 5 for the tendon tool tip but would absolutely recommend and buy again if needed.
I love the width of the handle, the blade is nice the serrated tendon blade is great. It's a little heavy but you don't need to carry a saw anymore.
