The broad brush is designed to scrub the interior nooks and crannies or your reservoir while the thin, coiled brush is long enough to scour your entire drinking tube in one pass. After cleaning your drinking tube with the brush, wrap it with a paper towel to help dry it before storing it.
I purchased the platypus reservoir to use on a colorado backpack elk hunt. I did not get a chance to use it. The cleaning kit works great . Glad that I purchased it.
This tool made cleaning our hydration bladders super easy. The length of the brush allows you to scrub the entire bladder, even if there is only one main opening & the smaller end is like a plumbing snake for the hose portion.
It’s made to clean their product so you know it’ll work. Gotta keep ‘em clean.
