"I’ve had this headlamp for almost 5 years and have zero complaints, the red light is the brightest on the market. It’s extremely bright for those early morning and late night trek through the woods. The battery life is incredible as well and I really like that it’s a rechargeable battery so I never have to worry about having spare batteries."

"Light is ok. It brightness steps down after approximately 3 minutes no matter what intensity mode I have it on. I sent back to peax they confirmed it and sent me it back either fixed or replaced. They didn't specify. Returned light does same thing. I just ignore it now. Works good besides."
"I stalked into an early morning deer glassing spot using a Petzel red light headlamp I’ve had for years. I almost fell down the side of this Rocky Mountain side a handful of times. So I bought the Peax after hearing good things about the red light brightness. It’s rediculous how much brighter it is, and with a longer life span. "Haven't gotten to use on an extended hunt yet but so far loving this light! Super bright in both the white and red light modes. Easy to turn on and off. Easy to adjust/aim while wearing. Really like the ability to protect the switch to prevent accidentally turning the light on in my pack and discovering later I have a dead lamp. If I holds up will definitely be adding one or two more to my gear later."
