goHUNT Highlights

  • Three-season waterproof bivy that is breathable, waterproof, and lightweight
  • Waterproof Ascentshell membrane is air permeable instead of breathable, meaning it will breathe the moment you enter the bivy, as opposed to standard breathable membranes that only breathe after you build up moisture with breathing or sweating
  • An enlarged head space covered by a large mesh screen that keeps bugs out on early season scouting and hunting trips

Manufacturer Highlights

  • Removable single pole can add headspace or be left behind to save weight
  • Extra headroom to store gear and large side opening for easy access

The Stargazer Bivy is a great way to enjoy a solo night outside or multi-day hunts. Fully seam-taped, breathable, waterproof AscentShell™ technology ensures you'll stay safe from the elements, while a newly designed side entry makes it easier and faster than ever to get in and out of your shelter. The TPU laminated bivy floor has a bathtub construction that protects you from ground water and rain spray. The fabric’s 40D ripstop also prevents rips and tears. An enlarged head space covered by a large mesh screen keeps bugs out, helps prevent condensation, and lets you stargaze while you dream of the next day of hunting.

Finally a bivy that breathes!

Love this bivy. It breathes extremely well so you don’t end up all wet in the morning. Used it in the Colorado mountains when it was about 50° at night. Perfectly dry on the inside while wet on the outside. And what a view! So happy.

Zipper system is junk

There is 2 zippers right on top of each other, one for the mesh netting and the other for the waterproof canopy. First night in the field, I was trying to unzip the canopy zipper and of course it gets the mesh netting hung up in it then derails the zipper and the zipper track is in shambles. Once derailed, that zipper is no longer functional. Glad rain wasn’t in the forecast.

Too tight

The area around my calves and ankles is ridiculously tight with a sleeping pad in it. It’d compress a sleeping bag so much that the insulation would be useless. Makes no sense. This product was almost awesome. I’ll be returning it.
