The Outdoor Research Men’s Helium Down Hoodie is not your typical delicate down jacket. The Helium Down Hoodie is a stronger, more durable down hoodie that won’t add weight to your pack. With the Diamond Fuse technology the shell will protect your 800+ down insulation and will make your shoulders and hood waterproof. This hoodie will work for your mid to late season hunts and packs down nicely so it won’t take up much space in your pack.

"I was gifted this jacket and love it. The value is hard to beat with 800FP down and the ripstop/pertex technology. It can be used as a mid-layer with a soft shell over it or can be used as an outer layer if you have baselayers underneath and another fleece mid-layer. I was eyeing more expensive options but I think the jacket is 95% of what other insulated pieces are, while being $70-120 cheaper. I am 6'3 225lbs and the XL fits me great (and is my typical size in a jacket)"
"6’0” 184lbs Normally wear large In jackets but wanted to be able to layer and add binos, which was something I couldn’t do with my large Ascent down jacket from Eddie Bauer. If i wear it with just a tee it is loose and a bit large, but with layers its just right. Love the hood. LOVE the fleece in the pockets. Packs down well. It has found a home in my pack for most hunts. And won’t be going anywhere soon."
"Love this jacket. Extremely warm and light and it feels more durable than many other down jackets. Be warned that if you’re buying this to wear on top of other layers that you’ll want to order a size up. I ordered this as a layer to wear while glassing but my normal size was WAY to tight to fit over my bino harness, let alone my other layers. I exchanged it for a size up without issue and I couldn’t be happier."
