"I was looking for a smaller pack than the beartooth that I have. I’m mainly a whitetail hunter and have transitioned from climber/hang-on to a saddle this year. I have had the opportunity to use it from the ground and up in the tree. While this is a great pack for the ground the way it opens makes it sun optimal for that application. When hunting from the ground this will be my go to pack without a doubt. It has all the room for a day trip plus a little extra. The pack rides in the correct spot and the frame provides the right amount to of stiffness to take a lot of the slop you get with cheaper packs. Buy once cry once you won’t be disappointed!"
