"I haven’t used myself but loaned my Sawtooth 65 and the cover to coworker for a recent canoe/camping trip to upstate NY. Weather was wet and cold for three days, he said it worked great. Kept all his gear bone dry. He really liked the pack as well. His friend was stuffing clothes in his lumbar to keep his pack from rubbing. The MR Sawtooth he said was extremely comfortable loaded to about 40lbs. Bought a medium cover for this pack."
