Fits my needs

"I was looking for a small packable stove for an upcoming hunt and this stove fit my needs perfectly. Iv only boiled a handful of pots at this point but is fast and work as it should."

John C. (5/5)

Disappointing

"This stared out as a great stove I loved it. I used this stove a lot and bragged about it to all. 6 months in the problem started. Small bolts above the red block come loose and will not stay secure once retightened. This causes stability issues along with safety issues. I spoke with hikers and got the same story from them. So it wasn’t just my experience."

Compact and reliable.

"Compact and reliable."

Great backpacking stove!

"I've been using the MSR Pocket Rocket for most backpacking trips. It boils water quickly and efficiently and is reliable, even in bad weather/cold conditions. I like to use the MSR mugmate in conjuction with this stove because I like a hot cup of coffee in the morning. I bought the MSR Pocket Rocket 2 about two years ago. I really like how compact this stove is. I've used it in alpine conditions, windy conditions, wet/stormy conditions and in temps way below freezing with great success. It boils water really fast, 1 cup in about 45 seconds and 1 liter in 3.5minutes. The stove is fuel efficient, lightweight and easy to use! It fits perfect into my pack! I would not go backpacking without this stove! Check out my video on my YouTube channel Lone Crow Adventures to see this system in action!"
