Breakdown
The Back Country Elk decoy is built for bowhunters looking to leave roads, trails, and other hunters behind. It's the minimalist's decoy, use it with the included lightweight aluminum leg pole or simply slide it on your trekking pole to save even more weight. The ability to fold it down to a tiny 9" x 9" circle that you can shove in a thigh pocket or even behind arrows in your bow quiver makes carrying this decoy a non-issue. Built from a picture of an actual elk, you're not sacrificing any realism for all that lack of weight. The Back Country Elk may be the best hunting partner you've ever had.

Backcountry Elk Decoy -- Love it!!

"I won't quibble with a few ounces (mine weighed around 10.5 oz) because overall this decoy is so easy to pack and deploy. I love the overall size and shape of the decoy when folded up; it fit nicely inside of my pack and I stored the pole/stake unit in the side pocket of the pack. Absolutely quick and easy to deploy. It blows around a little in the wind, but that's to be expected. I was hunting with some family members who were posted up a few hundred yards away from me and they commented on how realistic it appeared from a distance."

Excellent Decoy

"I was drawn in by the weight of this thing. Mine weighs 9 ounces, including the stake. Perfect for the pack and very easy to deploy. The elastic bands on the backside fasten nicely to the two plastic clips on the stake, giving the decoy some stability in the wind. Very realistic from a distance."

Montana Elk Booty Decoy

"Well we called an elk across a drainage, but he winded us (I hate Colorado). Basically the only experience with it out and elk staring at it. There were 3 or 4 looking at it, but only a small 5 point was willing to go fullsend. He was staring at it for a very long time. Quality is fine. It packs very well."

Seems Quality

"Haven’t used it in the field cause I don’t know how to find elk. Lol. But super lightweight and small. High quality. Works well with trekking pole."
