Great for GPS on bino harness
"As someone who doesn’t use radios much for hunting, I’ve found the real value of this to be attaching GPS units (like the Garmin 67i) to my binocular harness. I dislike using the carabiners as I don’t like having a GPS just flopping around on my pack or chest. This allows me to fix it in place. In order to use for this, your harness either needs to have MOLLE webbing (like the Kifaru harness) or some sort of horizontal strap (like the Eberlestick harness). Using it like this, my GPS (and in turn satellite communication) is always with, even if I ditch the pack. It securely holds the GPS, protects the GPS from scratches and dings, and you don’t get the telltale sound of plastic when a tree limb smacks it."
