The VX-5HD has a High-Definition optical system for sharp clarity, and the Twilight Max™ Light Management System for great low-light performance, giving hunters a visible advantage at dawn and dusk when the game is on the move. The CDS-ZL2 (Custom Dial System ZeroLock 2) elevation dial locks in place so it cannot be inadvertently rotated off zero. A mere press of the button, which also acts as a revolution indicator, will allow the hunter to dial up two turns of elevation, if necessary.

"I purchased this scope for my wife’s 6. 5 PRC. Setting the zero is super quick and easy and I love the CDS Dial System. It tracks well, isn’t bulky, and is super lightweight. Love it!"
"Have not used yet but taking it out of the box was disappointing. When I opened the Leupold box I saw the scope had slipped out of the precut circle it was supposed to be sitting in and was pressed against the side of the box. Additionally, the and the elastic strap for the lens covers was broken which makes that piece unusable. I will test it out to ensure the scope wasn't damaged in transit but when you are spending this amount of money on a scope and see how little care was put into packaging it leaves a very bad taste in your mouth."
