Leupold BackCountry cross-slot bases are made of 7075-T6 aluminum, making them some of the lightest and most rugged mounts on the market. "Great addition to my setup. Solid lightweight rail. Makes scope sit slightly higher than I’m used to with medium height Ruff’s Precision rings but objective end of scope doesn’t look awkwardly high. Probably going to upgrade stock to something lighter with adjustable cheek piece anyway, but it’s entirely usable in the current configuration"
