Great value binoculars

I love the quality for the price of these binoculars with the added benefit of having Leupold support and service. I added the BX-4 Pro Guide HD in a 12x50 to a Leupold BX-2 Acadia 10x42 set that I’ve had for several years. These are much more comfortable to hold and feel lighter than the Acadia’s. Beyond the additional 2x magnification I cannot distinguish any significant increase in clarity or brightness. I can say that, for the cost difference, I cannot tell a difference between the two binoculars that I have and my friends much more expensive brand without test equipment. No statistical significance to justify the price. The BX-4 are made in Japan, so I feel they should actually be closer to $500 to better compare to chinese glass like the BX-2. I would love to have American made binoculars!
