You can count on the LEKI Makalu five-section folding trekking poles for your next backcountry adventure. The newly developed Aergon Air grip uses a thermo foam material and has been improved for greater comfort and control. The hollow-core design combines lightweight construction and a large supportive surface. The top of the grip has been fully covered in rubber to aid with grip and control on hard technical descents. The added 8° of positive angle supports the wrist for greater placement of the pole, this adds safety, stability, and endurance while on the mountain.
