Bees knees
"Left my old set at the trailhead. Somebody scored. Had to replace and bought the exact same ones. Starting from the bottom: -Carbide tips grip onto everything. -Baskets are great for snow, mud, soft ground, just enough flex, I’ve never taken em off, but you can. -anti-shock(AS). It’s stiff and subtle. But it makes a huge difference. When you plant on a hard rock, instead of skipping off and sticking in a secondary location, it absorbs just enough to keep you firmly planted right where you intended. -colaspable lowers/telescoping upper great for stowing away. Locks are secure, doesn’t slip. Doesn’t create any weak spots. -grips are comfortable. Better than even other Leki models I’ve used. -overall, the things are lightweight, and very tough. I put these into situations I totally expected them to break. The carbon fiber will flex some under serious strain but I sure haven’t been able to break one yet. Length adjustments are quick and easy. They’re pricey. But I don’t think you’d find a better pole. My apologies for the long winded review"
