With the Speed Lock+ lever system, you can adjust the pole length quickly and easily between 110 cm and 130 cm, even when wearing gloves. This system is 27% smaller and 35% lighter than Speed Lock 1.0, so you can adjust the tension as needed without using tools. The integrated 8° positive angle of the grips keeps your wrists in a neutral and comfortable position, optimizing guidance and pole placement.

Trekking Poles

"These have really comfortable wrist straps and handles. Can't wait to use them in November."

Great Poles

"These are my first trekking poles. I haven’t tested them extensively. But from what I’ve experienced with them, they are handy to have on your pack in pretty much any situation. For my style of hiking…they didn’t help much on ascents. Speaking of ascent- one of my only small problems with the poles, is that the hand loops don’t extend down low enough to use with the foam grips below the cork. So you either have to not use them for quick ascents or adjust the telescopic clamps. They really shine (for me) on the descents. The cork grips are pretty comfortable and will break-in with time. Overall…I’d definitely recommend. Oh and here’s one important tidbit: I’m 6’0” and given these are my first poles and bought online, I went off recommendations from websites as far as length. Most sites recommended poles at least 125cm for my height. Mine are comfortable at 115cm. I know not all 6 foot people are the same proportions (longer legs, etc.) but I probably could’ve got away with the compact version of these (I forget the name, but they extend to 120cm). Since I really like the dark gray/orange color of these and use a tarp tent…I am fine with the extra length these provide for setting up my tarp."
